Its been ages since I last blogged. Its December and Christmas is coming! Winter season? NAH. Singapore= Tropical climate.

I went to watch 'My soul to take' yesterday. I was looking at my popcorn throughout the entire movie. Why? I was afraid something will pop out and I will scream a stupid bimbotic girl. Which I did that before... I wasted my $7.50 to look at my popcorn for 2h. Great!

I can't believe I spent all my allowance for this holiday this two weeks!!! I only bought facial masks ($50+), clothes(<$100), shoes (<$50), makeup(<$50) and what... Oh food! I think I spent quite some to pig-out. I have to stop being a pig alr!!!

My mom's colleague gave me a jap magazine!! Im totally lovin it. Jap always hav great fashion sense, and the clothes are so sweet and kawaii. Haha. I will scan some pages next post.

"LOL" is a common internet slang, but how do people pronounce it? Most of them prefer the pseudo pronunciation- lawl, but I can't stop laughing when people say that. Lawl lawl lawl?

In fact theres three different pronunciation of "LOL" : /ˈloʊl/, /ˈlɒl/, or /ˌɛloʊˈɛl/.

Ok so how do I pronounce "LEL" ( Laughing Extremely Loud or Laughing Eccentrically Loud) ?

Why are people getting lazier?

With laziness come many different problems one of which being obesity.

Society craves convenience. Innovations makes life so much easier.

Do we still need to walk or bike to school? No, we have vehicles.
Do we still need to handwrite letters? No, we type and email them.
Do we still need go and talk on the phone? No, we have 3G cell phones.
Do we still need to go outside and jog? No, we have treadmills.
Do we still need to handwash our clothes? No, just dump them in the washing machines.

Technology is no doubt important to us, but people have become and will continue to be more and more lazy.

Vehicles are pretty much a necessity now. Why walk around to reach your destination, when there are vehicles? Human beings crave convenience and convenience sells.

Should we blame it on technology? No, technology did improve our lives. Blame it on the paradox.

Do you always wish to annoy your teacher? Here's some ways to do so :P

End your assignment with "This paper will self-destruct in 10 seconds".
Draw pictures of him/her on every assignment.
Say to your teacher," Can you repeat the last half an hour? I was not paying attention."
Litter your the floor under his/her desk.
Swear loudly and blame it on the weather.
Poke holes in the paper. Say that the dog did that.
Yawn and sleep during him/her class.
Attach unrelated things (eg. pictures of spider man, Pokemon, Power Puff Girls, wonder woman, etc..) on every assignment.
Type every letter twice. (lliikkee thhiiss. hhaahhaa)
Turn in homework written in Arabic.
Be late to his/her class and say that you were caught in the tornado/ tsunami.

Body Worlds @ science centre! PLUS ASTRONAUT ICE CREAM!

The adventure camp was postponed due to the religion dispute in Malaysia! Instead, we went to science centre today to view the Body Worlds exhibition. It was so fascinating! I had the urge to touch the bodies! However, we were not supposed to take photos and touch them. The photos below are taken from the web... All the bodies are plastinated.

Had lunch in Mac and bought a packet of astronaut ice cream in a gift shop! Bascially its just a brick of dehydrated ice cream.

Flavor: Neapolitan
Taste: 4/5 stars ( It would taste better if chilled)

Recently religions tensions aroused since the "Allah" dispute. I wouldn't want to talk much about that cause its a sensitive issue. However, if I had a chance I would really remind the world the importancy of World Peace! Do you people really want war occuring everywhere?

Oh I am able to go to the adventure camp! Two more days! However, my parents and I have some concern regarding the safety because of the religion dispute recently. The camp is located in Malaysia and my school is a catholic convent, oh great! I can't imagine what will happen if we were attacked... Maybe there's a slight possibility that we might win because our screams are extremely high pitched and loud (maybe almost 120 decibels) , it can cause deafness...

School started!! Yay or ewww? I was down with a horrible gastric last three days. However, I would like to say a big thank you to Nicola from my class who had smsed and emailed me the whole list of homework yesterday night! TO NICOLA: THANK YOU! Hope she will see this :P! Not to miss out Abigail, who had tried reaching me through phone calls. Sorry Abi, I am well- known for not answeing phone calls =/ Anyway, there's gonna be an adventure camp 3D2N next week!!! Its a camp at Kahang Organic Rice Farm, Johor. Yup you heard me! Rice farm! Hands-on in the rice fields on rice transplanting, harvesting and weeding! I have Scoleciphobia (phobia of worms!!!).
We gonna sleep in tents,of course. BUT chalets are available... well, maybe not for us. Ok remember I was sick for last few days? Here's what happened on Thursday...

Billions of dollars were spent of P.S. worldwide. Why people even go through such lengths to enhance their appearance? People view plastic surgery as a way to fit in and look acceptable to friends and peers or see plastic surgery as a way to stand out from the crowd. Conclusion? : The root cause= Low self confidence, self acceptance/love; high self-conscious about their bodies.

SINGAPORE: It seems Singaporeans love to test their endurance. Just earlier this month, many pushed themselves to the limit by taking part in the MediaCorp—Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge.

This time round, a hundred movie fans are going to the extreme by competing in a hundred—hour movie marathon at The Atrium, near Plaza Singapura. The reward? S$10,000 and a trip to tinseltown Hollywood.

To survive this challenge, contestants have to come up with strategies to keep themselves awake throughout the marathon, without talking.

"I have this rubber band on my wrist, so if I fall asleep or feel tired, I’ll just snap it," one of the contestants said.

Another added: "It’s a mind—over—body kind of thing. Worse come to worse, I will pull my ear lobe."

The marathon organiser said on Thursday there are measures in place to make sure no contestant passes out from an overdose of Hollywood.

Jasmmine Wong, country business manager, Nestle, said: "They’ve got toilet breaks. They just have to raise their hands and they’ll be escorted. There’ll also be nutritional meals and stretching exercises of about five minutes in between (movies) for the participants."

On Saturday, celebrities will be taking part in a special 24—hour movie marathon challenge where the winner will donate the S$10,000 prize to charity.
